Website Links

If your Housing Authority has its own website, you can add a link to the HMS OWL™ site by using www.hmsforweb.com/owl.  If you don’t have a website, you can give that web address to your clients directly.

Informing your Applicants about HMS OWL™

There is a sample document included below that you can use as a template for informing your applicants about HMS OWL™.  Feel free to edit it and use it as you wish.  You can also use it as a template for posting on your website if you have one.

Registration

Your applicants will be required to register before they can begin using the website.  An email address is required for registration.  We provide links on the website to free email sites for those applicants who may not have an email address.  There are instructions and a Frequently Asked Questions page to help them register and answer the most common questions they may have.  Your staff and your applicants can email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. How HMS OWL™ works

HMS OWL™ uploads your wait list information to the HMS OWL™ website overnight Monday night thru Friday night.  So for example, if changes are made to the waitlists on a Monday, the website would reflect the changes the following morning.
