For Project Based Housing units, the Housing Authority is the landlord. RENTAL REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED. With Project Based Assistance, when a family moves out, the assistance remains with the unit, not with the family.
Eligibility for assistance is based on the total annual gross income, family size and landlord references. If landlord references are not available, professional references, such as an employer, supervisor, social worker, teacher or counselor will be required. All applicants are also subject to a criminal history background check.
One small pet may be allowed with prior approval. If a pet is approved, a refundable Pet Security Deposit will be required.
